C&J Rentals is a locally-owned business — and the longest-running rental provider in Ōpōtiki. Alongside our property management, we offer long-term caravan hire, Rent a Shed storage, and general maintenance & renovation work for the homes we look after.
Our story
We’re known around town as C&J Rentals — even though our website is cjrentals.co.nz. The name covers everything we do: property management, caravan hire (long-term only), and our local Rent a Sheds shed-storage business.
We’ve been operating as a rental provider in Ōpōtiki longer than anyone else in town. That experience shows — in the way we look after every home on our books, and in the relationships we’ve built with landlords and tenants over the years. We also take on general maintenance and renovation work for the homes we manage and for other locals around Ōpōtiki & Ōhope.

Property accounts & tenancy liaison
Joanne is the J in C&J. She handles the property accounts and is your go-to for everything tenancy — applications, inspections, and the day-to-day liaison.
Property manager · repairs & renovations
The C of C&J. Chris runs the property management side and looks after all repairs and renovations.
Head of mousekeeping
Office supervisor. Inspects every report for accuracy, audits the heat-pump airflow, and ensures all human staff are sufficiently attentive.
General dogsbody
Greets every visitor, sniffs every parcel, and approves every new tenant with a tail-wag. Reliably enthusiastic — the very best of us.
